Sourced from a neighbouring village, this oak piece has been turned on a lathe from green wood to approximately 1mm thickness. Once finished, the piece was left to dry naturally, allowing the piece to find its form. The features within the wood have given the piece its distinctive form. It is also incredibly light in weight thus defying its reputation as weighty and substantial. 14 cm diameter x 10 cm tall
